The bags are produced in a 4-up operation, the port end of the bag can be fitted
with one (1) or two(2) components which are loaded.
The film is transported step by step through the presses by the indexing unit.
At the same time, the ports are transported via a special chain system.
In the first printing press, the next step are side welding. In the second welding
press, of the ports is welded. The position of the presses cannot be changed.
The machine consists of the following components:
1. Material Unwinding Frame
- Roll diameter : max. 800 mm
- Roll width : max. 350 mm
- Number of Rolls : 1 working rolls, 1 spare roll
- Film : double-wound
The film is drawn-off the roll by free driven dancing rollers.
The working rolls are checked via a film sensor which stops the machine before
the film runs-out
2. Printing station (Hot stamp) - Mounted on the machine frame, for printing
of the bags
3. Ionized cleaner device
- Bag cleaning with total elimination of static electricity
As through and reliable as series units are, air-wash type container cleaning
alone isn't enough for certain applications.
This is particularly true where bag are involved, because the molecular movement
of synthetic materials charges particles in the air and causes particles in
the air and cause them to stick to the bag.
This can be a problem for any filling and packaging operation where clean
room procedures, or simply a clean product, are required The reason: any bag
supporting a static change will attract contamination in the form of microscopic
dust particles.
- How FAC ionization keeps bag particle-free
An ionizing device in the blower nozzles emits quantities of negative of a
static charged object, such as the bottle being filled. Following the principle
that opposites attract, the charged object takes on a sufficient number of
negative or positive ions (whichever is required) to neutralize the static
charge.
Ionized bag cleaners are a most efficient, effective and economical way of
keeping your product free from the contamination static charges can cause.
4. Port welding press
- Press force
- Infinitely adjustable to : max. 20 kN
- Upper press stroke : max. 15 mm
- Lower press stroke : max. 100 mm
- Welding area : approx. 140 x 350 mm x 4 set or other
The press is quipped with an pneumatic drive. It is executed as a 4 column
press with a centrally drive electrode upper plate which is quided via double
V-guides the bottom table plate is driven pneumatically via a toggle lever
system.
When the press is closed, the ports are welded in two steps with the use of
electric Heater (100 ~ 250deg. C.) adjustable.
The top and bottom plates of the press are equipped with a tempering plate.
5. Electric heater welding press
- 1 Press force : max. 30 kN
- Press stroke : max. 100 mm
- Welding area : approx. 140 x 350 mm
The press is equipped with an Pneumatic drive.
It is executed as a 4 column press with a centrally driven electrode upper
plate which is guided via double V-guides
The top and bottom plates of the press are equipped with a tempering plate.
6. Lower press frame
- Consisting of a frame with rails mounted on the top, on which the indexing
carriage executed with pneumatically actuated grippers moves.
The indexing carriage is driven by electric motor.
7. Transport for ports
- To supply the automatic affixed components into the port pick up finger.
Consisting of a horizontally move device with mandrel holders for one or two
mandrels. To switch the production of bags from one to two ports or vice versa
The chain is moved synchronously to the index movement.
8. Pneumatic equipment with exhaust system
- For the collection of the outgoing air of the pneumatic units so that it
is possible to remove the polluted air (oil and particles) from the area.
9. Mandrel retraction device.
- Installed in the area of the peripheral welding press, pneumatically actuated,
for retracting the mandrels from the welded ports.
10. Electrical control
- Built into a free-standing control cabinet, free programmable controller,
Type Master K-1000.
- Brief description
a. Machine specific required values such as
Temperatures
Pressures
Are digitally stored
b. Display of all set and actual values (LCD display)
c. Functions of the machine via soft keys
d. Error diagnostics in normal text
e. Real-time clock
11. Safety guards - For the entire machine, consisting of safety doors with
P. C glass.
12. Tempering units - For consistent electrode temperatures in the welding
presses
13. Scrap station
- The scrap station is mounted on the extended frame rail.
Mechanical grippers on the carriage of the Pneumatic cylinder unit across
the machine at a 45deg. angle, the grid is dropped onto a scrap material box.
- Finished parts remover
The welded bags are picked up by the vacuum suction cups and transported to
a conveyor belt.
14. Sets port welding die - Consisting of upper and lower die for one and two
port bags.
15. Peripheral welding die - Consisting of an upper die (upper die equipped
with tear edges).
